Another batch of new DAF XG+ models

With a slight exaggeration, we could say that DAF = JAPO. And vice versa. We have had Dutch brand tractors in our fleet since the very beginning. We are now gradually moving to the new generation XG+ models.
Until last year, you could mostly see yellow JAPO semi-trailers hitched to DAF XF tractors. Once the XF was one of the most popular trucks. At JAPO, we had 142 of these tractors.
In the summer of 2021, the DAF brand came out with a new generation of this model. Its cabin was completely redesigned. Together with the XF, completely new XG and XG+ tractors also made their first appearance. And we immediately strived for the latter.
The DAF XG+ offers the largest interior cabin space of all lorries. This guarantees more comfort for sitting, standing and sleeping. The direct view from the cabin has also improved. Classic rear-view mirrors have been replaced by external cameras transmitting the image to displays inside the cabin. Not only thanks to these features, the DAF XG+ received the highest award in the prestigious International Truck of the Year 2022 poll.
During 2022, JAPO drivers drove a total of 22 DAF XG+ vehicles. By the end of 2023, this number will have increased to a total of 47 modern and comfortable tractors.
